Columbia SPJ uses PayPal for all paid event tickets and swag items, in addition to cash. This is a quick guide for how to purchase items through PayPal without an account.
Be sure to select the quantity before hitting the PayPal “Buy Now” button
You’ll be prompted to a new window. It’ll show the cost on the top right. If you don’t have a PayPal account, but want to pay with a debit or credit card, scroll to the bottom and select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card.”
You’ll be prompted this screen. In addition to entering your credit/debit info, please don’t forget to add your preferred email address. **This is how we’ll send you your receipt with a unique QR code (for advance event ticket sales)**
Once you hit “Pay Now,” and your purchase has been confirmed, you’ll see a screen that shows your receipt number. You can now either close the tab or hit “Return to Merchant.” Please check your email for a receipt. If you have any questions with your order, please contact the Board.
