SPJ will sponsor another safe space, this Wednesday at 2-3 p.m.
in room 501A.
The purpose of the safe space is to ensure that students can vent with others
in similar situations of academic and professional development–in hopes
of making new friends, acquiring peer advice, and obtaining resources on
and off campus students might not have known otherwise.
According to Rebecca Castillo, the academic affairs committee at SPJ, Rachyl Jones and
Gabriela Aoun, will be present during the safe space to listen to student
concerns as they pertain to academic life at SPJ, so the administration can better
address them.
